Teresa wraps up Level 201 improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade and is asked to join the stellar cast of "Something Vivid" by Kevin Rehac in a reading directed by Alan Souza at Celebration Theatre.
The fantastic Brimmer Street Theatre Company asks Teresa to be a guest artist for their Blueprint Series as they workshop four new plays throughout the spring. Plus, Teresa starts scene study work with the incredible theater director, Beth Lopes!
Happy New Year! Starting off 2013 with some improv-tastic UCB 201 classes with Brett Christensen and Groundlings workshops while shooting starts for the hilarious new comedy webseries "The Real Housewives of Shakespeare," which is exactly what it sounds like. In verse. Teresa's also busy taking a commercial workshop with Bill Coelius and a voiceover improv class with Mary Lynn Wissner at Voices Voicecasting. Boomer Sooner! Teresa wraps shooting on the feature film "Home, James" in Tulsa, OK. Plus, improv classes at UCB start with Amanda Sitko.
2013 is already around the corner and Teresa is asked to play Viola in the very funny webseries "The Real Housewives of Shakespeare." Shooting starts in January!

Amazing news, folks! Teresa passed the intermediate improv level at the Groundlings! That means she's on to the upper division performance track and the Writing Lab! The bad news is she won't be able to get into a class until spring 2013. The good news is that she doesn't have to repeat Intermediate. YAY!
One more month left in Colleen Smith's Groundlings class! Meanwhile, "The Vagina Monologues" and "Voiced" at the Lyric-Hyperion open to great reviews. Teresa is busy working on a new reel and starts a workshop with casting director Dean Fronk!
Rehearsals begin with director Beth Lopes and the fabulous cast of "The Vagina Monologues," while the same group of actresses also co-create and perform "Voiced," a companion peice to the documentary, "Until the Violence Stops." Proceeds benefit the Downtown Women's Center to boot.
The new year starts off with a bang: Teresa is invited to perform in the Lyric Hyperion Theatre's production of "The Vagina Monologues" for International Women's Month Festival AND intermediate improv classes start at The Groundlings!
On a more personal note, Teresa and her fiance Josh are featured in the December 2011 issue of O Magazine! Teresa finishes her first level of improv at the Groundlings and moves up to the Intermediate level with flying colors! (Colors were improvised on the spot.)
It's official! Teresa joins the most distinguished union in the world: SAG! After hugging the membership representative, she is pleased to update her union status as a SAG member.

"Nothing is Cool" played at the Hollywood Fringe Fest to rave audience reviews! Everyone loves a girl who can play an eggplant, right?
It's the premiere of the mockumentary short, "Nothing is Cool," in which Teresa plays the uber-hipster multi-instrumentalist, Kelly! Come join the Mustache Bravado on April 6th at 8 PM at El Cid to see "the funniest, most accurate and perfectly realised satire on music since Spinal Tap" (The Devil Has the Best Tuna).
Hee-yaw! Check out Teresa in her voicematching debut as Beans in the "Rango" video game. In stores February 25th! Teresa wraps two days of shooting with Verne Troyer on "The Metaphysical Adventures of Verne." The experience not only involved children and dogs, but her first brush with wire work!
Teresa has just been cast as "Tabitha" in the new webseries pilot, "The Metaphysical Adventures of Verne," starring opposite Verne Troyer. Filming starts at the end of February! Wahoo! "Good Fences" is set to premiere at the Tisch West Webseries 2011 Showcase on February 8th in conjunction with the NYU Writers Lab West. RSVP here, come out and check out the winners! The world premiere of the full-length play "Slumpbuster" by Robert Potter and starring Teresa as the slumpbuster herself, opens at Theatre Asylum on February 10th and runs through March 6th. Teresa has been cast as the female lead, Molly, in Pianofight's full-length play, "Slumpbuster" in its world premiere at Theatre Asylum. Rehearsals start in the beginning of January. Happy New Year!
Teresa is cast as "Jodee," the lead in the new webseries, "Good Fences." Filming begins in late December! Casting is complete and rehearsals start for PianoFight Productions' newest comedy show, "Santa Corpse." Catch Teresa in Triple Threat mode as she is a writer, director, and actor in a hilarious night of Christmas sketch comedies at Theatre Asylum in Hollywood. Teresa is cast as Christy, the practically-perfect friend, in Odin Ozdil's feature film, "California Winter." Filming in early December with the uber-talented Elizabeth Dominguez, Walter Perez, and Dustin Fitzsimons.
Teresa has been chosen to compete as one of ten participants in Tisch West's 3rd Annual Monologue Slam in Hollywood on September 30th. Come see her original piece in action!
Shortlived 3.0 closes after a wildly successful run with three of Teresa's plays in the finals round! Congratulations to all!

"Nothing is Cool" debuts at the Tisch Webseries Launch Party to rave reviews! Check out Teresa and the band in the first three episodes at www.NothingisCoolMovie.com. Piano Fight Productions premieres "Shortlived 3.0," the largest audience-judged playwriting competition in the nation, with Teresa acting and directing every week at Theatre Asylum on Theater Row. The plays change every round, with a culminating finals weekend in June.

Teresa and the Tisch Webseries Workshop wrap up after four weeks working with some of NYU's most fabulous alumni. But the fun continues, as Teresa is cast as Kelly in the rock mockumentary "Nothing is Cool."
